He studied law at Tanta University. He then earned a diploma in administrative sciences from Alexandria University, and two diplomas — in public law and in criminal sciences — from Menoufia University. He also completed a master's degree in public law.

He has worked as legal counsel to investment companies, and as an academic lecturer.He uses modern case-management systems, so his clients know where their file stands at any time.
